Choosing Door Furniture for Lever Handles on Rose
Unlike lever handles on backplate, door handles on rose do not incorporate a keyhole or locking function within the handle itself. For a standard non-locking internal door, the handles can be paired with a suitable mortice or tubular latch. Where locking is required, separate escutcheons can be fitted alongside a mortice sash lock to provide key access. For bathrooms and other doors requiring privacy, the handles can be paired with a mortice bathroom lock and separate turn & release. This flexibility allows the same style of lever handle to be used throughout a property while selecting the appropriate locking or latching furniture for each individual door.
